If you are our customer, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest, as we reasonably assume that you are interested in our news, for a period of 5 years from your last order.

We protect personal data to the maximum possible extent using modern technologies corresponding to the current level of technical development. We protect it as if it were our own. We have adopted and maintain all possible (currently known) technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, damage, or destruction of your personal data.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

Our employees and collaborators have access to your personal data.

For the purpose of carrying out specific processing operations that we are unable to provide on our own, we use the services and applications of processors who can protect the data even better than we can and who specialize in the given processing.

These include providers of platforms or services for project management, direct marketing, and accounting.

It is possible that in the future we may decide to use additional applications or processors in order to make processing easier and improve its quality. However, we promise that in such a case, when selecting processors, we will place at least the same demands on security and quality of processing as we do on ourselves.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

We process data exclusively within the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection based on a decision of the European Commission.

Your rights in connection with personal data protection

In connection with the protection of personal data, you have a number of rights. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by e-mail at: info@newtechnology.cz
.

You have the right to information, which is already fulfilled by this information page containing the privacy policy.

Thanks to the right of access, you may ask us at any time, and we will provide you within 30 days with information about what personal data we process about you and why.

If anything changes on your side, or if you find that your personal data is outdated or incomplete, you have the right to supplement and change your personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You may exercise the right to restriction of processing if you believe that we are processing inaccurate data, if you believe that we are carrying out processing unlawfully but do not want all data to be deleted, or if you have objected to processing.

You may restrict the scope of personal data or the purposes of processing. For example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter, you restrict the purpose of processing for sending commercial communications.

Right to data portability

If you wish to take your personal data and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed in the same way as when exercising the right of access – with the only difference being that we will provide the information in a machine-readable format. For this, we need at least 30 days.

Right to erasure of your data from our database (right to be forgotten)

Another of your rights is the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish so, you have the right to it.

In such a case, we will erase all of your personal data from our systems as well as from the systems of all partial processors and backups. We need 30 days to ensure the right to erasure.

In some cases, we are bound by legal obligations, for example we must keep issued tax documents for the period required by law. In such a case, we will delete all personal data that is not subject to another legal obligation. We will inform you by e-mail once the deletion has been completed.

Complaint to the Data Protection Authority

If you believe that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to file a complaint at any time with the Data Protection Authority.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would first inform us of this suspicion so that we can do something about it and remedy any possible shortcomings.

Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial communications

We send you e-mails with inspiration, articles, products, or services if you are our customer, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

If you are not yet our customer, we send them to you only on the basis of your consent.

In both cases, you may stop receiving our e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in every e-mail sent.

Confidentiality

We would like to assure you that our employees and collaborators who process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data and the security measures whose disclosure would endanger the security of your personal data.

This confidentiality obligation continues even after the termination of contractual relations with us.

Without your consent, your personal data will not be disclosed to any other third party.

These privacy policy rules are valid from 25 May 2018.
